Ok so I was reading this book and there was a line where it went "Don't you worry your pretty little mind" and since in a Taylor Swif fanatic, I started singing the rest of the song in my head (it's called "Ours" btw). And the line that comes after that in the sign is "People throw rocks at things that shine" and that just means if your happy in yourself and you succeed, people are going to try to break you and make you hate yourself. I only realized this during my volleyball season last year, when I had a breakdown in the bathroom during practice and my coach (I love her sm) said "Hey, as Taylor Swift would put it, people throw rocks at things that shine. Don't let those other girls get to you." The reason of that last sentence:there were 2 girls on that team who played since 5th grade and always bullied me in a sense. Well, last year was my first year ever playing vb,and according to everyone who watched my games and practices, I was better than them even tho they played for 3 years. And I had, and still do, a hard time accepting that bc I can never take pride in my work. I don't want to look like the snob who's always rubbing t in that they got the A. No. I hate that. Anyway, she made me smile and laugh the exact time she said that. So, moral of the story, be yourself and don't let anyone bring you down. They might trip you, but you go up and go again. You will only be frowned upon if you stay down. ❤❤❤❤
