If you want me to read your book, do not under any circumstances put "k" as an answer to a question. It isn't hard to type "OK."
Here is an example of the proper use of the letter "K":
In reference to the element potassium. Potassium can be PROPERLY abbreviated as K. You get potassium from bananas, in case you didn't know. I use this fact to create jokes such as "Banana Brain" towards those who choose to be lazy when responding.
