I wrote this story because I've had several scary cross-country adventures, although none of them was on a motorcycle. So, my protagonist, Catherine, or Cat Scat, as Randy calls her, has one up on me there.

In real life, I'm a nurse practitioner and wellness educator.  I'm married and we have a puppy, Chanel. Like the perfume. She's a rescue dog and has a few issues, but is a sweet, pretty dog, and she makes me smile.
