Iris lore
Iris grew up with 5 older siblings and one little sister. Iris didn't have alot of attention as a kid but when he did, He wasn't spoken to nicely. He grew up with a mindset where he thought him being vulnerable or kind was bad, He always heard his father talk badly about shapes and stereotype them. Iris was never taught that these stereotypes were bad. Iris met Pentellow at 6 years old, They bonded immediately and became best friends. At 15 they started dating and slowly Pentellow started teaching Iris to be less hateful and what is right and wrong. The teaching started at when Iris was 17, So it was gonna take a really long time to help him adjust and stop thinking how his father did. When Pentellow received Tsavorite, Iris tried to not be mean and criticize Tsavorite but he failed alot which caused Tsavorite to dislike Iris. Iris still feels bad about it, He really wanted to be fatherly to Tsavorite. Thankfully when Orange came around He was able to not say anything about him. Even so He stopped criticizing and being mean to Tsavorite! Orange really changed Iris as a person, He adored and admired Orange. Although he had no clue how to handle or take care of a hero. Most of the time he didn't want Orange to fight or do much because he had a horrible fear of his son getting hurt. He struggles alot during the corruption because of his fear of Orange getting hurt and because he wasn't exactly in the right mental stability for it.
(His little sister went "missing" one day when she was 3 and never returned. He still hopes for her return)
