I'm a lifelong reader and writer. Once I figured out that actual letters, not random loopy scribbles, made much more sense to the people around me, my writing skills vastly improved.
I mostly stick to the urban fantasy genre these days. That and some good old pulp style swords and sorcery.
When not immersed in the interesting but insane worlds inside my brain (or borrowed from other brains) I spend my time crafting. Right now I'm mostly into chain maille jewelry making and sewing.
