So…I have very obviously not uploaded the next chapter of Truth Serum like I had originally planned. I was seriously having a really horrible mental health day, and was not in the headspace to write (especially about a coming out scene that I relate to and love) sorry.

Just finished the book Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. I’m currently sobbing, this might be the saddest book I’ve ever read. It’s a mlm Greek Myth retelling but it’s devastating. I highly recommend it even though it absolutely broke me :)

God, I fucking hate having a homophobic family. Like, my mom makes me go to church every Sunday and every time the pastor rants about how homosexuality is a sin and how you need to prevent your children from being gay and going to hell. She says it’s good for me to learn what’s right and wrong in the world. Then, we were watching a show and two men kissed, so she turned it off, warning my little brother that they were going to suffer eternal damnation from that. Like seriously I hate it, because I can’t come out or I’m gonna be sent to straight Bible camp or something

@BylerFlesh3ater I’m sorry you got outed, that really is the worst, and I do get it (I was raised in a strict Christian household where homosexuality was apparently considered evil) And I lost a lot of friends and was actually scared because I was told that having thoughts about liking the same gender would cause eternal damnation, and had to baptized again because my mom said so. I’m glad you have other queer friends (I only have queer online friends) cause that does help and I’m glad you’re better now❤️

@Castle_Byers OMGGGGGGGGG (ik this was 2 days ago... I just like stalking peoples pages :3) BUT YES!!!!!!!! dude my whole family is hella homophobic and lowkey I grew up thinking that way too bc I didn't know better... but I've always liked girls but I thought there was something wrong with me bc of it... but as I got older and became friends with more (queer) people and lowkey watched heart stopper for the first time I realized it was ok to feel the way I do. but sadly I ruined many friendships with people through my years of being "homophobic" :( I AM MUCH BETTER NOW!!!!!!! and recently got outed by my mom to my whole ass family and heh... imagine how that went... I AM NOW THE DAUGHTER OF THE DEVIL APPARENTLY............
