I’m in SUCH an identity crisis right now. It’s an MBTI one, and since I love MBTI, I see its use, connections, etc, I don’t let go of it.
So I saw this reddit post, where someone was questioning if they were an INFJ or an INFP. The post resonated with me, but I was sure I was an INFP. I went onto mistype.investigator, which can be quite accurate if you understand the questions, know yourself well, and aren’t biased. By that point I only fit the first of the three. So I got INFP. It was confirmation bias.
Then I read the self-typing articles of mistype investigator, original Jungian functions, asked ChatGPT, etc. The mistype investigator articles showed evidence that could suggest Ni-Se and Fe-Ti or Ti/Fe as axes. I did not think I was a Se dom or aux, I analysed myself, my processes, realised that Fe was what I felt deep inside, but it got suppressed… I got interested in this… and Ti. I used to love logic puzzles. Now I like more read between the lines type things. Seeing patterns in information. ChatGPT said ENTP, but that was not really by my thought process. The most likely possibility for my type seemed INFJ. My favourite type from 2 weeks into my MBTI obsession till now. I’ve been interested in MBTI for FIVE WHOLE YEARS.
Yes, I love INFJs. They’re my favourite type. They are interesting to me. That’s why I wanted to be sure that Electro/cute child was really an INFJ when @Tiffamon336 suggested it. Because he’s my favourite character. But he’s my OC, and I can write him to be an INFJ.
I redid mistype investigator, considering myself deeply. Other, less accurate, cognitive function tests. They all showed high Ni, then Ti and Fe, but unusually high Fi. Although I can slightly see how Fe and Ti can be mistyped as Fi.
