My first encounter with books was when I was about four years old. I was too young to read, but I tugged on my mother's sleeve as we walked past a bookstore, imploring her to buy me a book. The book was paper after paper of squiggly lines, but I held it close to my heart. 

Ever since that day, I rarely travel anywhere without at least one book with me. I wore out copies of children's books that were given to me when I was not old enough to earn my own money to buy books. Back then, books were my iPhone -- my portal into the land of possibilities. 

With my love for books came my love for writing. It's one of my true love. I am enamored by words and how different letters coming together can evoke a thousand emotions and senses. I want to be a magician who can craft up an alternate universe where my readers can immerse themselves in. I want to create magic. 

And now here I am, still writing. Drinking tea, writing, reading, and playing with my dogs are things that I can't do without. Life wouldn't be complete. 

Asides from this little passion of mine, I am also an outspoken feminist. My day job is a vlogger. I speak about feminism, sex education and social issues. Usually a quiet, introverted person, if you talk to me about feminism and books, it's a sure fire way to coax me out of my mental cave.
