Finally after a massive hiatus I have written another chapter to The Arcturus Front. The last two chapters have really picked up a head of steam and I don't see it getting any less crazy for Mullens and the rest of the crew...

Just got done updating the formatting for The Arcturus Front so it will flow better and be easier for readers to see who is talking. Started Chapter 10 over and also getting started on my next book. Keep an eye out! :D

Hi all, Apologies for such another long hiatus. To be completely honest I am struggling to finish up The Arcturus Front. I had intended it to be a full length novel and instead now I am looking at making it a novella. I want it to be able to stand alone if needed, but also have the option to build off of it in another book... At this moment, I'm looking at wrapping up my book in about 8000 more words or so... so maybe Chapter 12 or Chapter 14 if at all possible. This will put me at a total word count of 23,000 ish and my first ever novella. I'm hoping that I can wrap it up from where I'm at though...
          
          Fear not my 11 followers! ;) There is another project in the works that is a SciFi Dystopia type book. Very rough ideas at the moment, but definitely going to be fun to write. I'll be sure to keep you all in the loop!!

Okay! We're almost to Chapter 10!! Chapter 9: Contact, has just been published. 
          
          Fifteen thousand words and just shy of seventy pages! :D I can't believe this is even happening right now!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to say a huge thank you for following me and your support over the last few months, despite my hiatus from Wattpad. As of right now because of your feedback and support, The Arcturus Front is ranked number 433 out of 24,100 stories with the "space" theme! 
          
          Looking forward to bringing you more adventures from The Arcturus Front in the coming months. 
          
          All chapters through chapter eight have had the edits done that I mentioned in my previous post. Looking forward to any feedback you may have to make this story even better.

          I just received some EXCELLENT feedback from a fellow Author here on Wattpad. Their thoughts and experience helped guide me to a better formatting of my chapters and a major re-work of the prologue... (If I decide to keep it at all and tell the story more as I go) So... without further ado, here's what you can look forward to as I edit my first eight chapters.
          
          -Better formatting! (No more wall of words!) 
          -Consistent use of past tense. (Previously I was writing in past and present tense... Oops!)
          -Consistency edits for  locations of stations and ships. 
          -Descriptions of ships 
          -Overall edits and tweaks.
          
          Check out the new (shortened) prologue and the reformatted Chapter 1 and let me know what you think! Very excited to edit the first eight chapters and continue this story. :)

          Chapter 8 has been published as of four minutes ago and I'm very excited to say that the crew of the Richmond has made their first Jump out of Sol System since the attack nearly a month ago. Head on over and give it a read to see how your favorite crew member is doing!

Very productive night tonight! Just completed Chapter 7 of The Arcturus Front. :) Total word count is now just shy of 12k! I never thought I would get this far on my project. We'll see where I end up. I don't have a word number goal, but a friend who also writes told me recently: "Don't write until a certain word number... Write until your story is complete." We're just getting started on the Arcturus Front, so here's to a good amount of work left to do and an entire universe to be created!
