          This will be split into 2 parts due to the length.
          
          I know I have been on an almost 2 year hiatus and I apologize for my absence. I am here to clear up a few things and explain why I have not published a new chapter.
          
          Main Question: Will there be a new chapter? Yes, however, there is no release date at this time.
          
          Now to explain my 2 year hiatus. The reason I have not published is because someone who first encouraged me and supported me through this journey, my Grammy, passed away suddenly in September 2023. My Grammy was the reason why I published, continued to write when I didn't feel like I was good enough and helped me work through ideas. When she passed, my world came apart entirely which was difficult to recover from. Since her passing, I have not had a single moment of inspiration nor want to write. She was the reason for all of this and with her gone, I struggle to find a reason to continue. She was the first person to like my chapters and the person who always wanted to talk about what may happen next. 
          
          I am now doing my best to pick up the pieces and find inspiration again.

Part 2:
          Another reason I have come out of my hiatus is to address the rude comments/ messages that I have been receiving.
          
          Firstly, I first began writing Surviving the CEO when I was 13/14 and my writing style was very different back then. The book is terribly cringey, cliche and poorly written; it's something | wish I could fix. I would love to rewrite it or start fresh but that's not in the cards.
          
          Second, leaving rude comments is not something I will tolerate. I understand that Reuniting with the CEO is far from finished but leaving rude comments to try and get me to write is not the way to go. I have been in your shoes, I know what it's like to love a book but discover that it hasn't been finished. However, what I didn't do was leave nasty comments. You do not know what goes on in your favorite authors personal life and I think many of you forget that. People come on this platform to read or write and do it to escape from reality. (P.S.- if you're going to leave rude comments, use spellcheck to fix your grammar mistakes)
          
          Lastly, thank you to everyone who has left kind and encouraging words for me. You didn't go unnoticed and I appreciate the love you've given me. You guys have helped give the nudge to start writing again.

I am getting fed up without for this book to be finished. If you not finishing it can you or the site take both the books down as it is not being fair the readers when cannot finish reading them.

Hello CeCe, I hope you're doing ok. Last time, you said you had some things going on in your life. I hope all that has been sorted and that you are doing fine now.
