I was always worried that one day this would happen and it would really freaking suck for it to happen. The best way I can give advice to people is transfer your works to Google Docs when you do it through your phone. It is free when you do it through a computer it cost money. I don’t know why it does that but it does but if you wanna protect your work, that is a good way to protect your work I know from experience I’ve also known a author that got reported or we seem to think that she got reported and her whole entire books got deleted off the app and it was one of my favorite series and it was never able to recover, and she never came back because of it it really devastated her and I wish someone would’ve had told me about Google Docs. It’s very easy and it’s a 123 step and anyone can do it. I was looking at your other post and I believe that you’re right that they are targeting black authors, which is really a shame because even in the Wattpad originals, they’re not a lot of black authors that are recognized and there are black authors that’s been on this platform 10 years or more that still have not gotten their recognition and their books and series and everything they write about is not recognized the way it’s supposed to be even though they’re amazing writers and she freaking have actual books out in the world. It’s absolutely crazy that they would do this now. I do understand why they have to do some things, but sometimes I really don’t understand Wattpad and it makes it hard to love this app when everything I’ve ever loved about books came from Wattpad. It’s just really weird.
