Hey, Cents. I was about to update ave series #4 and X and O’s, however, I chose not to. As most of you may know, we experienced another calamity in our area—and not updating was my way of sympathizing. To the people who lost someone, their everything, to the victims—it’s not just “bangon”, we demand IMMEDIATE ACCOUNTABILITY.
          
          I am using this platform and my account to share what I have to share—because silence means siding with the evilness. It’s not about being cautious, but voicing our outrage to the situation—to the higher ups. Because honestly, is this what we really deserve?
          
          It is really hard to move forward. We were once victim of a strong earthquake just a month ago, and now we’re also a victim of the Super Typhoon Tino. After all of these, bakit wala pa ring nananagot?
          
          I am a Political Science student, but as a people of the nation, you don’t have to be one to be politically aware. We have the rights to demand the government for their care because they SHOULD have prioritized our welfare—instead, they’re flying to other countries when they knew about the coming of the typhoon. It’s ridiculous how they left us with nothing but fear, while they’re spending OUR money. While they’re sleeping in their comfortable bed with their blankets, people are sleeping with their one eye open—scared, shivering from the coldness, no house, no everything.
          
          It’s been two months since the flood control issue, yet wala pa ring nananagot! Dapat tayong magalit, because we have the right to be! Huwag na tayong magbulag-bulagan! And it’s so frustrating to see people’s house being dragged by the flood when the government should’ve done BETTER.
          
          STOP ROMANTICIZING FILIPINO RESILIENCY. START DEMANDING FOR ACCOUNTABILITY. CORRUPT POLITICIANS ARE THE REAL DANGER. And I hope after everything that had happened, Filipinos’ eyes are open enough to choose the rightful people to sit ‘there’.
          
          And I hope you stop silencing yourself. Please, do better.
