Why did I just discover Wattpad can do math for you? :0 Why did no one tell me?

Recently, I came to a realization. I published my first fic here during 2020, when I was a 6th grader. I didn’t publish my work for views, votes, or popularity. I published it because writing was what got me through the day, the month, the year. It was my way to let go. Maybe just like reading was what got you guys through hard times. I’m really grateful for all the people who read my stories, the people who vote, the people who comment, and especially for the friends I’ve made through here. Now it’s 2026, I’ve graduated high school, and I’m still here writing because I love it. Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey at one point, and to those who will continue to be. Thank you because seeing your comments gave me a sense of relief, happiness, and inspiration. Thank you because this was a safe space for me. Thank you for growing up with me. The kid that was once depressed and didn’t know what to do during the pandemic is now all grown up and going to university, believing that she can do anything she sets her mind to, because you guys supported her when she thought no one would. I love you Chaechus <3
