You are probably wondering--"Why did I make a reboot of Sonic Universe before I finished the original story? Or even before I finished the Metal Virus arc?" Well, if you're still thinking this after a few months of the reboot being out then...here's your answer from the main man himself! If you compare the tone of Crimson's character between the original timeline and the reboot, you'd notice the old story was cringe. The reboot might be cringe too, at least, that's what I think. But the original Crimson personality, especially with EGGMAN, he was edgy, emo cringe... And that's pretty much it.From the top of my head and from experience, at least. And the fact I was pretty impatient to start the reboot because I had so many ideas bursting at the seams, so...reboot! I probably should've rewrote the original characterization and the bonds between characters, as you saw the differences between original and reboot; more connections, but I like the concept of rebooting stories. At least ones like Sonic Universe. Should I just remove the original story and make the reboot the "original" story instead? THEN, make a reboot that's *much* more different this time 'round, instead of slight changes. Let me know. I want to hear what YOU guys want. I'm fine with either, tbh.

Attention: This message goes out to everyone who has read my stories. I just--I don't have the same spark I had when writing Sonic Universe, I don't want to leave it behind, but I also can't continue it. I have major burnout, and I just keep up with the potential demand for both my readers and to myself. So, from now on, Sonic Universe will be cancelled and won't be worked on anymore starting tonight. I apologize to those people who loved this story, but it's time to move on. Have a good night/morning/evening. Bye.

To anyone who has read my stories and liked one or both of them, just know: I will be making more stories, and one coming out pretty soon called: "The Raccoon City Incident", which is a Resident Evil story. So, if you like RE, then you should check it out when I publish the first part. I am also writing the Sonic Universe reboot as we speak, but it won't come out until every chapter of the original is caught up as of right now. And the promised Sonic Universe prequel story too. So, stay tuned for those stories. This is all I have for you, so hopefully you'll give the RE story just as much love as you gave Sonic Universe. See ya then!
