A poem I made about BLM it’s not very good since I wrote it at like 3am but it’s something lmfao
I’m not a threat to you
A gun and taser is what you carry,
Yet it’s my skin color that is scary
How many have to die,
Before we are finally justified?
They lie and cheat,
To make us look like thugs and thieves
“You’re already equal” they say
Yeah until you don’t get your way
Our lives will forever be below yours
If you are unhappy our lives are worse
“If you don’t like it go back to your country”
Is what you tell an African American
But what will you tell native Americans
After Stealing their land?
They send undercover cops to riot and destroy
So that we’ll forever be their toy
You kill our fathers
Then make fun of us for not having one
Is making us suffer really that fun?
You call us ghetto and ratchet for wearing durags and braids
Then steal our culture and ignore our pain
You kill us then expect us to trust you
And ignore all the pain that you put us through
I’m not a threat To you
Alright no judging please, I haven’t written a poem in AGES so I’m well aware it sucks but it still has an important message!
