I was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee (pictured above) - the Buckle of the Bible Belt. Hot, humid, oppressive. Also the setting of my first novel.
I have a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing: Fiction, a BA in English and a Master of Education degree. Don't call me Mr. or Dr. - call me Master.
Other than pursuing publication, I am currently a writing professor at Saint Mary's College of California in the San Francisco Bay Area. And I'm a 3/4-time stay-at-home dad.
