@flamlouant yes I totally agree. if we were given the chance to explore ourselves and learn to understand our minds more, everything would be so much less stressful for us. we would be able to say what we need and probably have a better intuition (idk if thats the right word) when it comes to finding out what others need as well.

I feel like kids today arent taught to be true to themselves anymore. yes, its all about liberty of the mind and expressing yourself but youre always supposed to do it a certain way. people expect freedom to look the same in everyone when thats the last thing this is all about.

and I also totally agree that we need to listen to eachother more closely but wont be able to if we still have to pay attention to our own thoughts so much that we cant hear others.

@flamlouant yeah I got the first notification as well :)

and what you said is so important!

a lot of the time you hear people saying they've been hurt or betrayed and thats why they cant open up anymore. but as you said, I think we're often just really scared of what we might be capable of ourselves. because if youve seen your own demons you suddenly start to see them in everyone else as well. or you think you see them, make them up perhaps but still get scared.

if we could be honet with ourselves, if we could adress these demons and tell the world "this is me" from the very beginning , we wouldn't have to be scared of what others might be hiding.

people could be open with eachother and there wouldnt be this constant nagging fear of "what else is in there, when will it come out, is it worse than what Ive got".

@flamlouant this is so great, thank you for replying! I know I've never quite understood the replying/commenting concept on here hah.

and that's a really interesting story and its so true, we've all been through things that had an impact on how we act around others and how we see ourselves.
I wish opening up could be easier but I feel like our society really isnt about the truth in people. Everything is a game and has to be made into riddles.
Why is it that the most emotional most people get is when they post sad lyrics etc? Why do we have to reblog secretive mystical stuff, why cant we just be honest and straightforward with the people around us, right?

I imagine it to be so hard for someone who doesnt has a Jayme Dray or actual real friends to talk to to find themselves. it's so difficult to understand your own thoughts when youre constantly thought how to disguise them infront of others.
