Hey everybody.
Now, with the exciting release of Elysian Hydra, I wanted to clear something up for the people that might have noticed something about it.
This story is indeed meant to mirror the premise of the anime Fairy Tail. I love this anime personally, and wanted to do something with the world of magic itself and include all my friends at Chatpad. With this, people might ask,"Why is this not labeled as a fanfiction then?" Well, I wanted to keep this as far away from fanfiction as possible from the very start. To do this, we are completely disregarding ALL lore of Fairy Tail, and with that means almost everything regarding characters and background/commonly known things (Zeref, Eclipse event, etc). We're going to be in attempts to create our own lore and our own story, and take our own twist on the premise of Fairy Tail itself. With this, the only real things we're taking from the anime is types of magic [some is original, but most is things directly from the anime(Animal Soul, Slayer magic, etc)], and the concept of guilds, jobs, and things of that caliber. With that, we all hope that you enjoy Elysian Hydra as we continue on to write it. Salutations!
P.S. All chapters will be written by the person they're associated to (Ren will write Ren chapters, Spino will write Spino chapters, Blue will write Blue chapters, etc). We did it this way so that we, as the characters and as the writers, could react to the story as it goes on, and so that it feels more immersive for the readers.
