I write to escape.

Not because I hate reality, but because sometimes it's too loud. Too heavy. Too much. Writing is my quiet rebellion-my way of taking control, choosing who loves, who hurts, who heals, and who comes home. It's like Netflix on a Friday night, except I decide the story.

Writing is how I release everything I carry but can't always say out loud. Some days, nothing else captures the ache I feel-no movie, no book, no show. So I create it. I write the heartbreak I need to survive, the longing I want to name, the words I need to hear. With a cracked heart and tearful eyes, I write-and somehow, that's healing.

And yes-I write fanfiction.

Because there's something magical about taking characters I already love and letting them live out the stories I wish they had. Stories that make them softer, bolder, more broken, more healed. Stories that explore the emotions canon never gave them space to feel. Fanfiction isn't just fiction-it's freedom. It's a form of self-expression that's just as creative and meaningful as any "original" story. I'm not just borrowing someone else's world-I'm expanding it, personalizing it, giving it new meaning.

Some people draw or paint. Some bake beautiful cakes. I used to-until life changed. Now, I build stories. They stretch my imagination and bring me back to myself.

My stories are rooted in real emotion-messy, aching, beautiful truths. Even in fiction, the feelings are real. Because deep down, I want to fall in love over and over again-through words. To feel that rush, that ache, that sweetness of love, even if it only lives on the page.
