Hallihallo ihr Lieben da draußen!!
          	Seit einer halben Ewigkeit habt ihr nichts mehr von mir gehört, also muss das hier wichtig sein, oder? ODER??? Richtig!!
          	
          	Ich hatte in den vergangenen Wochen das Vergnügen, an einer ganz besonderen Geschichte mitzuwirken:

          	"Der letzte Zug" ist die deutsche Übersetzung von "Mind the Gap", einer englischsprachigen Kooperation zwischen @EvelynHail und @RainerSalt, zwei unfassbar talentierten Autoren hier auf Wattpad. Es war mir eine große Ehre, als Korrekturleserin für dieses Werk tätig sein zu dürfen, und so bin ich nun stolz und glücklich, dass das Resultat heute das Licht der Welt erblickt hat. Ich kann euch diese wunderbare Geschichte wirklich wärmstens empfehlen (natürlich auch auf Englisch, wer mag), und falls ihr Fehler findet - dann bin ich schuld! 
          	
          	Das Original, "Mind the Gap", hat 2020 den zweiten Platz beim Open Novella Contest belegt, und dieses Jahr geht die Geschichte gleich in vier Sprachen bei den Watties an den Start! Also heißt es Daumen drücken - ich halte euch auf dem Laufenden ;-)

@Chazzmin84 Is your husband okay? In France, the minister of Home Affairs had words that police syndicates didn't appreciate... I'm wondering if the uneasiness among police forces is spreading in other countries.

@ Yamanika_  I would have read it much sooner if time had allowed, and I am very grateful and proud you squeezed this into your full schedule! Racism needs to stop, and I am glad so many people are speaking up against this issue and openly show their support for BLM! It should be self-evident that everyone is treated equally by the police, and with my husband being a police officer here in Germany, I know that it is in many cases, but that sadly, racism still exists everywhere on the globe and the police are no exception...

@Chazzmin84 I am of Cambodian origin, and was born and raised in France :)
            I chose to write in English because my vocabulary is better in this language, and to reach a wider audience!

@ Yamanika_  Thanks, but please don't admire me; since you haven't read it, you don't know how crappy it is! 
            But speakin' of bilingual: I've wondered ever since I read some of your French comments in another book what your mother language is, since you obviously live in France, have some sort of Asian background and write English books... Maybe you can enlighten me! (Yes, bilinguism and/or mixed backgrounds/cultures are something I am very interested in )

@ EvelynHail  Hi Evelyn! It was my pleasure, and yes, I was off work for half a day and definitely needed a distraction from the madness out there...  And since @RainerSalt had beaten the big drum for this little novella of yours, I was curious to find out what you had created for this year's ONC. 
            Needless to say that I was not disappointed - I loved Evan's and Iris' story and the way their random encounters helped them find their own, or rather mutual path. Plus, the tale has satisfied my craving for romance, although I could definitely be mad because you decided to stop at the most interesting point...
            Anyway, great work once again, so congrats to both of you!
