@sedruum I don't know what server I would call the best. I play on an EU server myself, though one thing to keep in mind when choosing: Changing servers costs cash-store currency. You can guest onto servers from the same region, but not from EU to American servers vice versa. Servers also affect where you'll stand in World PvP. I play on Whiteside Ridge myself, which usually does pretty well with World PvP.

It's impossible for GW2 to become p2w with their current model of exchanging in-game currency for cashstore currency. But from what I know, you make an accound and download the game. It doesn't have all the same abilities in the free model as when you actually buy the game, but it's still pretty good

Ah, BDO has gotten pretty p2w sadly, so I wouldn't really recommend it unless you don't mind not being competitive in the game. I'm looking forward to Revelation Online atm though. Hopefully that won't end the same way
Oh, neat. I've always been more of an mmo person with games like Guild Wars 2, World of Warcraft, Aion, Final Fantasy XIV, Black Desert Online etc etc
