I was rereading a chapter of 2 Cor. this morning and I found a cool connection that, in my opinion, lays out the Christian “dilemma” of freedom pretty well.

John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

2 Cor. 13:8 “We cannot act against the truth only for the truth.”

As I thought about it, I realized that these connect really well. As Christians we talk a lot about how God set us free, but people might ask “what about all the rules and commands you have to follow?” That’s where 2 Cor. comes in. If we truly know and understand the truth - who God is and what he did for us - why would we ever act against him and the things he asks us to do?

Obedience is a natural response to knowing/understanding the truth. And acting in alignment with that brings true freedom. Freedom from sin, fear, and death. Freedom to become who God made us to be.

Okay guys, we need to be praying for the people of Rock Valley, Iowa. They got SO much rain and like half the town is underwater.

Apparently, like 500 houses have collapsed basements and are unsalvageable. They had to evacuate the town and were rescuing people with boats.

I have family up there and it sounds like they got lucky, but there are a LOT of people who didn’t.

So, please be praying for everyone dealing with the flooding. It’s crazy and devastating.
          Thank in advance everyone.

Camp was amazing?

It was raining everyday except for one and that day we went swimming, so we were wet ALL WEEK!!! It was great!

There were only 35 campers, but they were worshiping SO loud and God did some amazing things.

The motto of the week was “Embrace the wet!”

There was so much mud and wet clothes and schedule changes. I loved seeing God work through the staff, Campers, and weather.

It’s a bit disorienting coming back after a week, but I’m so thankful for the time I got to spend away from work and normalcy.

Anyway, all that to say, I’m back and revved up for whatever God has for me next.

Okay guys! I’m doing it. I’m gonna unpublish Daughter of the Empire and do some heavy editing.

          Planned changes include:
          -More Inquisitor content
          -Add more episodes/storylines
-Potentially connect it to the Kenobi series
          -FIX GRAMMATICAL ERRORS!!!!
-Generally just try to flesh the story out a bit more.

Anyway, that’s the plan. I’ll try to publish chapters as I finish editing them, but… yeah.
For all my Child of War/Daughter of the Empire readers, that’s what’s going on. :)

@Acidicus132 I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’ll hopefully have it ready soon.
Once I’m done adding stuff, I’ll feel better about being able to consistently update chapters. ;)

@Acidicus132 Depends how fast I get things written. I’m currently adding on some chapters and I haven’t quite started editing the other chapters yet. (I want to make sure I have all the context figured out first.) But I am working on it as much as I can. :)

GUYS, I PUBLISHED SOMETHING!!!!!

          It’s been so long!

Some of you may know that I was thinking about doing a story about Tyler before War Mantle. (*cough* @average_idiot567 *cough*)
I’ve started writing it!!! I just published the first chapter and I have several pre written, so I can actually update regularly, at least for a bit.

Anyway, hope you enjoy. We’re getting more Eliza, more Jason, more Jamie (if y’all remember him), new characters, new quests, and most importantly MORE TRAUMA!!!!

Go check it out. It’s called “Tales of Camp Jupiter: Spawn of Sun”

So… my body thinks it’s hilarious.
I’ve been sick for the last two days and, now that I’m finally getting over it, my body goes “you know what, no. You don’t get to feel good yet.” and now I’m cramping. •_•
          …why??
