Guys!
I’m 5 followers away from 500… what?!?! That’s actually crazy!!!
Anyway, I have no clue what I should do to celebrate. Any ideas? :D
@Cheshire_SK Do a reveal, maybe? Not necessarily your face or your body, you know. You could reveal some kind of skill. Like for example, if you're a musician, record something and post it on here. Or you could publish a new book or even just a short story as a special treat. Just some suggestions. Hope this gives you some inspiration! God bless! :)
I did it!!!! I have finished writing the extra chapters and am able to start republishing “Daughter of the Empire”.
In celebration, I’ve revamped the cover. What do you think?
Anyway, I’ll try to do regular updates for this one since I’m just editing chapters now, but I’M SO EXCITED!!!! I really like some of these new chapters and I can’t wait to share them with you.

I found Rhea’s song!!!!
Eternity - by Alex Warren
(This is a cover by Cami-cat because I think the format of this version fits Rhea and Iroh better)

I’m actually so glad I’m making random posts again. It feels good. :)

I was listening through my Spotify today and realized that these songs work really well with Ali’s character!!!
I Miss her and I Blame You - MALINDA
https://open.spotify.com/track/3fblpFYnZ3axVGnkR1XQZx?si=MYLB9IuKRGWArXmhTjs4QA
Fear - NF
https://open.spotify.com/track/3HfKlhohNNTLIv2t9uvmzz?si=lK228-06RGGgHO-xR8c7hA
First one basically lays out why Ali makes a certain decision in Lost in Time (if you know you know)
Second one just fits her SO well it’s crazy. Like she was literally my first thought when I heard for the first time.
Happy 2026 everyone!!!
Yes, I am still alive. I’m sorry things have been pretty quiet on here lately. I had quite the roller coaster of a year in 2025.
I finished my CDA (Child Development Associate)
Got engaged, planned my wedding, and got married
My car broke down and I had to get a new one
I changed classrooms at work about 3 times
My parents had to move out of my childhood home
And all of that on TOP of my normal stuff from the year like camping, holidays, staffing at camp, etc. and THEN my bestie got engaged to her boyfriend - my brother - in December.
Needless to say, it’s been quite the year and I’m ready for things to slow down a bit.
With that I hope to get some more writing done this year. I know I’m holding out on the people waiting for the revamped Daughter of the Empire. I promise, I’m getting close to a point where I can start publishing!!!!
I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday season and I can’t wait to jump into this new year with you all.
God loves you and so do I,
Cheshire :)
@average_idiot567 Thanks! It was really fun. A bit stressful leading up to it, but turned out great. :)
Thanks for the follow!
Of course. I’m intrigued by your story and all for supporting fellow aspiring writers. :)
I was rereading a chapter of 2 Cor. this morning and I found a cool connection that, in my opinion, lays out the Christian “dilemma” of freedom pretty well.
John 8:32 “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
2 Cor. 13:8 “We cannot act against the truth only for the truth.”
As I thought about it, I realized that these connect really well. As Christians we talk a lot about how God set us free, but people might ask “what about all the rules and commands you have to follow?” That’s where 2 Cor. comes in. If we truly know and understand the truth - who God is and what he did for us - why would we ever act against him and the things he asks us to do?
Obedience is a natural response to knowing/understanding the truth. And acting in alignment with that brings true freedom. Freedom from sin, fear, and death. Freedom to become who God made us to be.
