Well just the thought that someone else from the fanpage could forward things and then it spread, no one would know the source of the magick and the wrong person could get 'noticed'. But I like the idea of the fanbase. Of course the only things that I might post would be crap seeings how I'm scared of a copycat. I like to get the credit that I deserve, not for someone other than me to take my rightful spotlight. Blogging I really wouldn't have time for plus I forget the smallest things so it would most likly be a waste of time if I weren't to continue it. I could try it and see how it goes from there starting with the small writes and then work my way up.

@CheyenneMckamie It is and it isn't. I mean, you can possibly develop a fan base, but there's no promise that those people will buy your book. I think joining a message board grants you a better chance at building fans - or becoming a well-known blogger (though I have no patience for that myself). There are a lot of things you can do to develop a fan base that don't necessarily have to do with posting your work online. I only post fluff. I am considering publishing SFH, but only because I'm finished and it seemed to do well. On the flip side, it's not even close to my best work - what is posted is the initial first rough draft and it needs work.

@KimFry lol I'd like to see your stuff in a hardcover book. I really liked that story. Honestly, I think I contradicted myself, knowing that I don't want my ideas online, its also a good way to be known faster. Not many people I know sit down and read books anymore sad to say.

Hey there, thanks for the fan!
I was reading your profile and I agree about showing people your work from a book and not a website. That's why I don't put anything else that I plan on publishing. Scream For Him is about it, and I don't know that I'll actually publish it anymore lol.
