I believe books hold the keys to really truly living. I love to read, anything and everything. To slip away into a different reality, One where I can be the spectator or read myself into the pages. I've been so many places and lived so many lives, I've seen the world from every angle and point of view. I've been traveling through time, mastering magic, fighting Greek monsters, befriending mythical creatures, being the hero of everyday life, fighting society, overthrowing corrupt governments, battling diseases, vanquishing inner demons, falling in love during impossible situations with impossible people, facing the struggles of everyday life, being a teenager, dealing with discrimination, doing things in the name of love, exploring far off places, solving mysteries, watching grisly horror scenes play out, leading underground societies, playing the mad scientist and so much more. People say it's impossible, to have done all these things. I just smile, pointing to my overflowing bookshelves and say, "If you are really quiet, you can sometimes hear them whispering their stories, just waiting to be read."
