Not me trying to enjoy my life while dad quietly sinks ever deeper into random rage and aggression. *Sigh*

This is why Europeans warn you about marrying the 'archetypal North American man. They all go crazy after a certain age.'

I assure you my father was an amazing dad growing up, but now I'm advocating for a divorce in the family, apparently.

@Chickengirl250 I've definitely heard a few tales of that. You need a vacation </3

I am quite impressed by your fandoms. Honestly, I found you through a Ninjago fic a while back and have been following you for a long time (almost a year I think), although I e only recently started making comments here and there. By "other random stuff" in fandoms, what are some examples? I know that you seriously cannot ever outgrow some fandoms because THEY ARE JUST TOO GOOD. Also, what do you think of Dragon's Rising (or don't)? (Not rage bait, genuine curiosity. Personally, I'm mostly just lost.)

@Chickengirl250 yea frfr, and season 4 has great arcs

@ChewBeforeSwallowing Some others are listed on my followback account, but I've got bucketloads atp. *Embarrassedly shows you my buckets full to overflowing of random fandoms*

I'm only through DR up 'till the Tournament arc. Haven't gotten around to watching Thunderfang or the rest just yet. (Because irl hates me, TvT.)
But I've liked it so far. Lots of worldbuilding and great character arcs. (Or at least up until I've watched it, ehe.)

Editorial staff meeting in my house be like:
          "JuSt OnE mOrE cHaPtEr!"
"Mom, you keep saying that after every chapter you finish." :skull:

Soooo, my mother seems to be getting addicted to my irl book.
She stayed up until two AM to read it, then had to force herself to stop. XD

She's fangirling over the characters already.
Adores the side characters as well as the mains. Went hysterical at all the right moments.
Confirms there's no dreaded 'best friend syndrome.'
It's reading smoothly so far. *Casually tweaks it regardless*
Squealed at the heroine's future magical familiar. (Because who doesn't love a tiny runty griffin chick, am I right?)

AHAHAHA!!! EVEN MY *MOTHER* LIKES THE STORY, AND THIS ISN'T ANYWHERE NEAR HER USUAL GENRES!

My peoples, get yourselves a sassy Hungarian mother. She won't steer you wrong, and you get an honest feedback.

@Obamaownssummer Not published. (Yet, fingers crossed soon.)
Need to finalize edits, and then resubmit to an interested publisher. (I'll see if I get anywhere with them at that point.)

I just need the good Lord to make ppl leave me alone so I can FINALLY finish editing book one.

There's just SO MUCH to say, what do you mean we only have 2000 characters to do it in? *skull*

Ah, this birthday weekend was certainly eventful. At least I finally (screams into the abyss: FINALLY!!!) managed to do a bit of editing.

Ik I haven't been on WP much these days. Family stuff, life, and the usual suspects, I promise I'm not deliberately ignoring anyone. TvT

Chickengirl250

@Frisktheskelegirl On the bright side, at least I'm still managing to edit here and there without even needing to stay up until three AM.

*Cackles with glee as I pat my stack of new books from one of the local secondhand bookstores* (The place is epic, trust.)

Already devoured the entirety of one of the novels in one sitting. XD

Chickengirl250

@StormEye_111 Hmm, it's hard to pick a favorite short story. XD
Christmastime, it's usually the Blue Carbuncle, (because festive vibe, yk) but I really like the Cardboard Box just because of the absolute trust Holmes showed in Watson. (As in a lot of them, ik.)
Novel-wise, IT'S EVEN HARDER TO CHOOSEEE!

@Chickengirl250 what's your favorite chapter from the short stories? also, what was your favorite novel? [sorry im just excited i finally met a sherlock holmes fan, there are rarely any people out there who've read the actual books]

@StormEye_111 OFCOFCOFCCCC!!! I was desperate to acquire some books that were actually portable, as opposed to the family mega-volume. Hence, the new books. XD
