Okay, I get that you are upset. I really do. HOWEVER, the only one that is border lining on selfish here is you. As I said before, I attend University year round. I do not take summer and winter breaks because I am trying to catch up with my age group as I had to take off 3 years due to financial reasons. Any ways, back to my point. You want some reasons why I haven't updated? Well, here you go:
1) As I said, I am in school. I take an average of 18 credit hours and 3 lab classes a semester. Over winter and summer breaks, I take 2 classes. These classes are divided into break group A and group B. This means that for 6 weeks, I have 1 class Monday Friday for 5 hours a day. At the end, I get to start over and repeat with a different class. You know what I do on weekends? I wake up at 7am. Start my homework, go to work for 10am work until 10pm, do MORE homework then go to sleep. When I get off of class, I usually go to work for a 8 to 12 hour shift. Why do I do this? Rent and bills.
2) Aside from school, I no longer have a personal computer. Mine got dropped and the hard drive and internal hardware was cracked. A new computer is freaking expensive. It is not something I can afford right now. The only reason I am able to even write this is because I am in the library using a school computer. Wanna know what I am supposed to be doing? Writing a 20 page thesis paper on the evolution of practical teaching techniques and why they are successful when dealing with special education children.
3) my days off of work. I get 2 days off a week. You know what I do? I do homework. I clean my house. I balance my checkbook and make sure i have enough money to pay for food and expenses. Otherwise, I spend time with my boyfriend who deserves and award for what's he has to put up with because of my stress levels.
So there are some of my reasons. And if you go "excuses, excuses" than that is fine. That is your opinion. Like you said, there are others stories out there.
