I used to write short stories all of the time when I was younger.  Writing was always my escape and a great outlet for a brain that never seemed to shut down.  I grew up and became a mom and gained a career and, somewhere along the way, I stopped writing.  So, here I am! Trying to get back in the swing of things, get back to one of my favorite creative outlets, and just have some fun.
