I’m gonna be so honest and say I’ve had so much free time on my hands and I’ve just been reading book after book after book not even once writing and I feel horrible about it but I’m trying to be honest. It’s been eating away at me and I hate that I haven’t been writing but without school I’ve finally gotten access to my sweet, sweet stash of literature. Hopefully, I’ll find it in myself to put the books down soon.

          HE IS A BABY?? IN TAMING 7 (the latest in book in chronological order) HE IS NOT EVEN 5 MONTHS OLD??? JUST BECAUSE HIS DAD IS SUPER HOT DOESN’T MEAN YOU SHOULD BE CREATING SPIN-FICS BECAUSE YOU WANT TO IMMERSE YOURSELF INTO A STORY BY BUILDING UP A BABY INFANT CHILD INTO A NARRATIVE EVEN THOUGH YOU’VE ONLY SEEN HIM AS A NEWBORN. THAT IS SICK. IM APPALLED. DID YOU GUYS SKIP OVER THE ENTIRETY OF TAMING 7 AND THE CENTRE FOCUS OF AWARENESS IN THAT BOOK????? ITS TALKING ABOUT THE TRAUMAS AND LIVES OF A CHILD WHO HAS BEEN SA’d AND GROOMED BY PEOPLE OLDER THAN HIM. 
          
          This is horrendous and you should all be ashamed. Reading it is just as bad as writing it.

          (I will not be voicing the so called “wrongdoings” in the likely chance it’ll upset some followers. I simply am here to express my opinions of a book to a book writing and reading community)

          Oh my god.
          I’m actually ill to my stomach after reading Taming 7 by Chloe Walsh. I thought I was getting Claire and Gibsie’s story of happily ever after, and maybe some snippets of Shannon and Johnny—and I guess I did in some ways, but I really just ended up reading the most disgustingly painfully heartbreaking thing EVER. This started happening to Gibsie when he was SEVEN. He told his babysitter, Caiomhe, and she DIDN’T BELIEVE HIM, then she witnessed it happening and proceeded to do NOTHING IN THE MOMENT, and left a him—a 11/12 year old heavily dyslexic boy—a written letter (he could not read it in any way whatsoever) and walked away forever.
          
          And I know what happens to Lizzie. I know the same person who was doing these things to Gibsie started doing it to Lizzie when she was FIVE, forced something so painfully excruciating on her at age 11, something so vile it brings me to tears. And then Lizzie is brainwashed into thinking everything that’s happened to her is a dream and that she’s crazy and needs help. 
          
          Lizzie and Gibsie were close—the best of friends when they were so very young. That is until the person inflicting this unspeakable thing upon two innocent baby children pin them against each other in silent hate. Manipulation doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of the wrongdoings.
