I am 23 yrs old. I LOVE to read because:

-Learning from the best. “Reading is like thinking, like praying, like talking to a friend, like expressing your ideas, like listening to other people’s ideas, like listening to music, like looking at the view, like taking a walk on the beach.”

-Keeps me fully awake and alive.  “I have consistently loved books that I’ve read when I’ve been sick in bed.”

-Allows me to travel to places I have never been to. “Books are for people who wish they were somewhere else.”

-Sets me free from boredom. “A reader lives a thousand lives."

-Reading helps me grow as a person. “To acquire the habit of reading is to construct for yourself a refuge from almost all the miseries of life.” 

-I select and collect great quotes. “Make your own Bible. Select and collect all the words and sentences that in all your readings have been to you like the blast of a trumpet.”
