Wattpad seriously need to do something about the spammers - maybe ban ip of spammers linking readers and writers to malicious sites. If you got tagged/received a comment about premium stuff, don't ever go to the website.

Just finished deleting the numerous Umaru hate spam by a commentator on my fanfic and I have this to say.
          
          Look if you hate a character, please keep it to yourself or at the very least, keep it mild. Yes, she's annoying sometimes but telling people or characters to die or kill themselves is childish and can be hurtful in some cases.
          
          This time, I won't mention who the commentator is because I don't wanna start a hunt and decided to leave this matter behind.
          
          As for the fanfics, I'll update them when I have the time. Just now isn't the best time for me.

Hi everyone =_= sorry if it's too long to read but it's extremely important...
          
          Recently, there's been a serious issue regarding the ban of fanfic websites in Malaysia, which has already affected Fanfic.net and may also put more bans on other fanfic platforms like Wattpad as well.
          
          So, someone started this petition in order to demand the Malaysian Gov MCMC to lift the current ban off Fanfic.net, which has been one of the major websites for fanfictions that are available in Malaysian readers and writers.
          
          As both a reader and writer of fanfics, this action by my country's MCMC is an impediment on our freedom to be creative. Not only that, the reason given for the ban is unreasonable as the use of filters and disclaimers are more than enough to tackle the problem of mature fanfics not reaching underage children that should have been under their parents' supervision. Therefore, there shouldn't be a need to ban an entire fanfic website, just to mantain the pure thinking ( seriously?!) of Malaysians.
          
          Sorry, if I haven't been in touch with my fanfic updates. This made me mad as I find their action to be extremely ridiculous.
