Yet again, it's been a while. It's hard to believe I've been at this account and this work for so long. Finals are nearly over, which means I'll have a summer of absolutely nothing to do...except write. So let's hope I'll get something done.

In the meantime, I encourage everyone to read a bunch of the newest books. I'm currently on A Tempest of Tea by Hafsah Faizal, which ended up being a big inspiration for my fanfiction. I encourage you all to read her work -- she is awesome!

Ok I know it has been a while since any updates. Screw midterms and test anxiety. College in general has been exhausting the past few weeks, physically and emotionally. My professors do not let up. Therefore, I haven't had much time to write. I also thought of some changes I could make to Freyja's story, so I am going to unpublish for now. Maybe even replace the story outright. I need to get back on track. I'm not done writing, obviously, but I absolutely need to sleep first, and I'm worried my professors won't let me.

I have decided to mark my old story with Anya as complete, as I do not intend on writing it anymore. For now, I'm going to focus on Freyja. The main purpose of Anya's story was to relay the horrors of war and racism and the bonds of family from the perspective of a Russian immigrant. However, given the great power of Anya's story in my heart and all the ideas I had about wizarding Russia and the Second World War, I was thinking of writing a small collection of short stories detailing original tales from that time. Let me know what you guys think!

After much consideration, I have decided to delete Legacy for now. I may re-release it, but writing that and Christmas Spirits has been stressful enough. Simply focusing on Freyja’s story, even with finals coming up, has already been liberating. It’s not easy to write, and everything takes time and energy. I plan on getting the third chapter out soon. Until then, happy reading and Merry Christmas, my ravens!

Ooo…kay. I just saw a playthrough of year 7, chapter 39, and holy crap did my story get derailed. It did not end up like I thought it would. So now I need to figure out what to do. Do I modify the backstory to reflect what’s going on in the game, or do I keep going with what I have now and reimagine the ending? I have no idea what to do. Any advice would definitely be appreciated.

P.S. Still writing ch. 42. Yes, I am being lazy and procrastinating. And yes, I do mean to get it out. Eventually.

I know it has been a long time since I’ve gotten a chapter out. I have been extremely busy with getting into college and stuff, and my English is relentless. All the research essays and papers sprung on me have given me writer’s block. But I promise I will try to get it out soon.

I have some bad news. Something went wrong with the story, and five chapters worth of writing was deleted, including 41. None of the already published story is gone, thankfully, but now I have to rewrite 41 from scratch. Therefore, 41 has to be delayed. I am so sorry for any inconvenience.

Update: CHAPTER WAS NOT DELETED. Some things just got screwed with, and now chapters are all out of order. Once I figure out how to get 41 back where it needs to be, I will have it out without delay, I promise! Just disregard previous post!
