            As for voting, simply put it's a way to indicate to the author that you're liking the story! If you enjoy the chapter you just read, you can leave a vote to let the author know you enjoyed. It also has the added bonus of helping stories reach a wider audience since Wattpad's algorithms promote stories (both in general and in searches) based on a series of factors including how many votes and views they have. So not only is it a way to let the author know you're enjoying their hard work, but it helps more readers find that story so they can enjoy it too!
