For this week, we discussed about the domains bacteria and eukarya and the different organisms that belong to them.
I learned about the different types of bacteria which can be either useful or harmful. in fact, there is a small percentage of pathogenic bacteria that causes bad effects on our body. The useful bacteria are the ones who protects us from diseases. I learned about the different types of structure of bacteria and other bacteria that have their own specific factors.
I also learned that even the ones in Domain Eukarya are classified in the same kingdom, the organisms are still divided into sub kingdoms or other smaller classifications. This proves that every organism is unique in every inch of their structure. They have their own characteristics, means of nutrition, cellular structure and their habitats.
I realized that there are many amazing microorganisms which we cannot see. And when I searched for the pictures of those organisms, I was amazed and their structure are really beautiful. And because of that, I became interested on studying about them and I want to discover more about their little and wonderful world. They are just small, yet, they have important roles in our environment. Even if they're small, they are terrible!
I enjoyed the activities that we've done about this lesson. And no wonder that I learned a lot about these organisms
