As an English teacher, I have always been enamored by the public draw of teen fiction. From the Harry Potter to the Hunger Games, these stories reach teenagers and adults alike, throwing them into the imagined world of magic, bravery and loyalty. 
          A student showed me this site, and I decided why not? I do not consider myself an author, but a reader. However, I have had an idea stuck decidedly in my head for the last few years, begging to be hashed out. While Mal may never join the ranks of Tris or Bella, here is her opportunity to exist somewhere other than in the recesses of my mind.
