What is currently in an upwards direction, people? I'm ChrisTheCat, part-time author, part-time reader, full-time story critic, living in Australia with the unnecessarily malicious wildlife, rapidly changing weather and lack of good TV. 

I found this website through a friend, and I must say I quite like it here. I think I'll stay for a bit, see the sights, nestle right in. Hope to find the time to write something, be it poetry, a short story or a full blown novel, then throw it out to the hounds, see how it fares on its lonesome.

A few bits and bobs about me.
I love acting, especially of the Shakespearean variety. I enjoy reading Shakespeare as well. I adore musical theatre, especially Les Mis. I am a fan of Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek and Game of Thrones. I enjoy critiquing fictional stories on the internet, for no readily avaliable reason. My girlfriend is like a trampoline in that I don't have one.
