My apologies for the sluggish schedule for posting my crime comedy "Too Good to be Truman." I was sick over the last 2 weeks of the year, and now all my focus is on finishing our first online course for http://DIYauthor.com (If you're an author with a book you're struggling to promote, stay tuned over there!) As for Truman, I hope to get back on schedule next month!

@KnightIndustries I hope so! The previous publishing arrangement was digital-only, but the new publisher will also be doing print editions. (Which also means the print debut of the third one, Knocking 'Em Dead.) Thanks for your support!

Aw, yay! Does that mean they will be more widely available? My mom works for a local library, and I've been trying to convince her to pick them up.

The thing that caught my eye first of all was the wonderfully wicked way you used the color yellow. Then I read your story Nursing a Grudge and it was absolutely wonderful. The creative mystery and the astounding characters are just superb. :) Thanks for writing. Wendy Smith

Hey, friends - I've decided to publish my novel 'Too Good to be Truman' to Wattpad. I hope to post a chapter a week starting in November. Whether you prefer my quirky mysteries or my quirky crime novels, you'll be glad to know that the 'Truman' novels fall squarely into both camps. :)

Chris! So I went on vacation recently and was finally able to catch up on my reading, including the book(s) you sent me. It took me a day to read the first, and half a day to read the second. Sorry it took me so long to get to them, I'm embarrassed...especially after how quickly I went through them! But I did love both of the books, Truman reminds me a bit of Earl. Maybe a younger version? I'm definitely going to add it to the my recommendation list, and I've been trying to spread the word on other medias for people to find your work. I really enjoyed it, thanks again for sharing! Viviana

Thanks - I'll need it! My day job eats up a lot of my time right now - we just launched http://DIYauthor.com and now we're in the midst of launching a new site for readers, http://FictionTaxi.com - but I want to keep chipping away at these stories.

@ChrisWell I love the idea of a Truman/Earl crossover. Your plans sound exciting and terrifying...since it takes me like two years to write ONE story XD Good Luck!

Hmm, Truman as a younger version of Earl - I hadn't noticed their similarities! Maybe it's because it comes so naturally to write characters who are cranky. BTW, on my to-write list is someday coming up with a book idea for a Truman-Earl crossover. But right now I'm working on a Truman spinoff (with his two poker buddies that are in organized crime) and then finishing the Truman trilogy. That's 7 books right there, so that will take me a while. :)
