I have been writing since I was a young child. Diary of a Young Black Girl is my first published book. 

I love teaching and mentoring young people. I love reading, and listening to various types of music. 

I'm quirky and a big nerd.  

When not writing, you can find me performing with the Word Poet Spoken Word group and being an active member in church.
