I'm reaching the end of marching band season. Although I will not be spinning my flag next year, I will miss color guard. I'm going to miss my senior friends. It's going to be rough saing goodbye to a handful of people I have become so close to and care about. Hopefully, most of them will come back next July. Marching band has really changed how I view things. I march on the field and think how stupid it is or I just want to go home. But when I watch my band on the field, putting in our blood, sweat and tears... I smile. Because all of us coming together as one is amazing whwhen it's all over. :/

Don't you just love it when you learn how to a correct pop toss (catching silk down) and as soon as you've perfected it (because you worked your a** off to get it right), you guard instructor changes it all and says catch silk up... doesn't that just make you the happiest person in the world!?
