Christian W. Freed, born in Buffalo, N.Y., spent over 20 years in the US Army before pursuing his talent for writing. He has published 30+ military fantasy and science fiction novels, along with memoirs from his service, a children's book, and two informative guides for indie authors. His book "Hammers in the Wind" reached #1 on Kindle four times, and he received recognition as the 4th place winner in a quarter of the L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future Contest. Christian, not a Scientologist, blends history and modern military tactics in his captivating quasi-realistic world. He holds degrees in history and Digital Communications from Campbell University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
