@RebeccaEBoyd I think it's great!! Your dad has a real gift for storytelling, it seems to be something he enjoys immensely. My boyfriend, too, has spent a large part of his life incarcerated, twice for non violent drug charges and one long stint for attempted murder, so I can sympathize with anyone that has done long periods of time behind bars. I will continue to keep you updated on my progress with the story if you wish!!
