@Prisca9 Thanks. I appreciate it. I love Jesus, He is my best friend. He has been with me for a while now, and despite all my failings He has never left me or failed me even when many other people have. That is why I can speak to and about Him the way I do, because He is my Daddy and I am His child or son. He knows and calls me by Name, I am known by Him, and I strife to know Him too. I seek His face and not just His hand. He is so much more than a religion to me. If we seek Him we will find Him if we seek Him with all our hearts. The only problem is sometimes the world, the flesh, and the devil distracting us from our first love and our purpose. It's up to us to pursue that intimacy with Him that He so desires to have with us. God does not have any spiritual grandchildren, I.e. we need seek God for ourselves and can't rely on anyone else to get us there. God is a rewarder of those who diligent seek Him, not of casual inquirers.
*[[Heb 11:6]] NKJV* But without faith [it is] impossible to please [Him,] for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and [that] He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
We can boldly come before His throne of grace in our time of need. We don't need to grovell like slaves or paupers we are His sons and daughters and have open access to every good thing that God has prepared for us.
*[[Jas 1:17]] NKJV* Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.
Shalom
