@Ritazyas Thank you very much for sharing your plot idea. A mystery thriller in the style of CID, developing case-by-case, is an absolutely brilliant concept, and I deeply appreciate your confidence in my writing for it.
I myself have read countless mystery thrillers that follow a similar case-by-case structure, and I find the genre incredibly compelling. However, as you know, crafting a truly suspenseful environment and maintaining the integrity of an investigation novel requires an immense amount of research and detailed planning.
Unfortunately, I must be realistic about my current schedule. I am already dedicated to actively working on two separate stories right now, and creating the kind of intricate suspense this thriller demands requires my full, undivided attention.
While this project is definitely going on my bucket list because I am a huge mystery thriller fan, I sincerely apologize that I won't be able to start working on it right away. I truly hope that one day in the future, I will be able to write the kind of mystery thriller novel you suggested.
Since you share a passion for this specific type of investigation novel, I wanted to recommend one of my personal favorites: "Silent Reading" (Mo Du) by Priest.
Please note that this book is not suitable for younger readers, as the crimes depicted can be quite gorey. It's very much an adult thriller. I highly recommend it for its complex plotting, even though I must admit I haven't completed it myself! I stopped for a time and when I tried to resume, I realized I had completely forgotten the side characters and felt a bit lost. It's the kind of book that demands your full focus, but its quality is undeniable.
