It's just sad to see how the conversation sections of the old creator have become a place where people through their own links to gain reads, I mean there must be some other way than following such an idea.

I know you mean well. I sometimes think the same. But when I look back, it's how I also started. Wattpad used to be a supportive community. If you recommend your books to another writer and received engagements, you should also give back your support coz that's how the community grows and how you gain friends. hope it stayed the same...
