Review:
Honestly, I’m not the biggest fan of the overall plot because it feels very similar to many arranged marriage Wattpad stories I’ve already read before, and it doesn’t really bring anything super new or unexpected to the table.
That being said, the characters are definitely the strongest part of the book. Shridha is written in a way that makes her feel real and emotionally grounded, especially with her boundaries, overthinking, and inner conflict. Madhav also fits the calm, understanding “green flag” type, but he is still likeable and comforting to read.
The story is readable and emotionally soft, and some moments between the characters do feel genuinely warm and engaging. The writing style is simple.
Overall, the plot feels a bit familiar and predictable, but the character work and emotional tone help carry the story and make it an okay comfort read rather than something unique or groundbreaking.
