I'm aware I've been pretty silent for the past few months.  What with everything going on, covid, uni, family stuff, etc, life has been pretty hectic.  However, I've been plodding along with the story I'm currently working on and we're now up to 35 chapters (I know, it's longer than the room 69 trilogy combined!!) and I'm really liking how it's going.  I have no clue when I'll start posting it but I can't wait for people to read it!  While there are 35 chapters, they aren't all in order, I've jumped around a lot whilst writing this, a lot of the chapters are future chapters and then I've been working to connect all these small parts and make the story flow.  I've also roughly planned the plot line out and know the main conflict and resolution I'm working towards, which is nice and a change to normal.  My plan is to finish writing it before I start releasing chapters, which I'll do either weekly or daily, haven't decided yet (probably somewhere between the two if I'm honest) but chances are I'll start releasing chapters once I'm nearly done.  I'm really excited about this story and it's been really fun to just work on something as a hobby without the pressure of having to get something done to publish.  Anyway, just thought I should update you all (also, there may or may not be an extra chapter coming for one of my other stories in the next few days, and maybe an edit for Room 69, which I meant to be on top of but did the first chapter and never did again...).  Sorry this has been so long, but I can't wait to finish this story and for people to read it!!

And also, I have another story currently being written.  It's got about 20 chapters now, not all in the right order and with chunks missing (this story is gonna be pretty long).  Would you rather I get it all written and publish a chapter a week (which will take a while because I'm a slow writer) or have me start publishing chapters, and you just have to wait for chapters to come out as I write them?  Leaning towards the second as I'm really missing having an active story published, but also knowing I'll probably be more likely to write with the first one...

Just realised that if my life was a movie, I wouldn't be the main character, I'd be the slutty best friend who's only purpose is to drive the main leads closer together.  Actually, my friend group fits romcom stereotypes pretty well... Shit is getting existential

So... I have gained access to some of the old stories I wrote on my kindle (written around 2015/2016) one of which was a future chapter I wrote for a possible sequel of the room 69 series, back when I had a different plot in mind.  Would anyone be interested in seeing it (heavily edited of course as my writing is a lot better than it was when I first wrote it, and some parts are veery cringey XD)?  It'd be a little non-canon scene, just to see how the story changed from my original plans.

Why is it so hard to come up with story titles?

Oh my god.  Room 69 has over 100k reads and I didn't notice!! I'm so happy right now!!! 

I'm changing my username to Phoebebun.  It used to be this, and I changed it for some reason, not sure why.  I want to go back to it, because I don't really dislike pandas anymore.  So yeah, just a heads up so nobody is too surprised!
