@Frayed-apart It's been ages since I've been on here, but I wanted to come back and say thank you! I started reading your LOTR works ways back when you were writing the first Luin the Blue, and I fell in love with Song Jiyang! I watched the untamed on your recommendation and loved it so much that I went on to watch more Cdramas,  and read novels and history books as well. Long story short, it was A-level results day last week and I found out that I'd met my offer to study Chinese at Cambridge!! It's literally all down to you that I discovered this passion and I'm genuinely so grateful! <3 (also don't think too hard about how old I was back then)

Also Im glad you were reading Luin’s series at that age instead of my more recent books. I was also reading many inappropriate things when I was far too young.

Wow! That’s amazing! Congrats! I have learnt a bit of Chinese too but nothing more than the very basics. Studying a language is so hard and I applaud your persistence. Cambridge is amazing! I hope that you have a great time and learn loads. 
          	  If you ever want anymore Chinese drama recs then feel free to ask. I am always down to recommend my favourites. 
          	  And I hope you continue reading my works in the future. I only ever wrote them because there weren’t more male oc fics around. It’s startling now to see what this has grown into. 
          	  I wish you so much fun and luck. This was heartwarming to read. Thank you for telling me.
