Hi ! 
          Hope everybody is going good !
          
          October and November just flew by,  I can't believe we're gonna be in December next week ! 
          I had a lot to do these past few weeks and didn't get time to finish the new chapter I started in October  for Focus On the Light. 
          Hopefully, I'll get to upload something before the holidays. If not, I'll be more free to write during Christmas Break and will make sure to give y'all at least two new chapters.

hii ive been writing for years and ive been struggling with how i write. like for example, people say make unimportant things that don't help the story brief and that's what i've been following. but at the same time i dont know whether i should write those unimportant things out or not because i dont want to spend a whole three paragraphs talking about someone's morning routine i usually make it brief. But i just can't seem to agree with myself on keeping it the way it is now or actually writing out the unimportant things if you get what i mean?

Hi ! I get what you’re saying, I had this problem too and still struggle with it sometimes. My best advice would be to find a balance, one that works for you. Those "unimportant" things actually help to make the story more fluid. It gives your characters a more realistic feeling, that the reader can relate to, but yeah don’t be writing ten paragraphs about a morning routine because it will slow down the story and might make the reader lose interest. Sometimes that’s hard because you want people to picture things exactly like it is in your mind, but you have to accept it won’t ever be the case and leave out details that won’t really change the trajectory of the book. Hope I was able to help a bit.
