Hi ! I get what you’re saying, I had this problem too and still struggle with it sometimes. My best advice would be to find a balance, one that works for you. Those "unimportant" things actually help to make the story more fluid. It gives your characters a more realistic feeling, that the reader can relate to, but yeah don’t be writing ten paragraphs about a morning routine because it will slow down the story and might make the reader lose interest. Sometimes that’s hard because you want people to picture things exactly like it is in your mind, but you have to accept it won’t ever be the case and leave out details that won’t really change the trajectory of the book.
