i always truly adore your “life by the sea” updates, i do adore how you’re always giving the life in-ho deserved to have. i am so excited to see where you go with that.

@velvetghosts I think it's because Gi Hun is a mirror of In Ho, but he's someone who didn't drop his values to win. In canon, the interest isn't sexual or romantic, it's purely because In Ho has rationalised his choices in the game. He's told himself that everyone would do what he did and Gi Hun confounds that. That's why he has to go to such lengths. Remember, Gi Hun only won the money because Sangwoo killed himself. I think reducing it to romance or sexual feelings dilutes In Ho’s character. He's not there because he can't come to terms with gay feelings or there because he just needs someone to love..he's there because it's the only way to deal with what he did in the games.

@ClaireWarner7 i go back and forth. i think if it’s an AU setting it totally works. in canon? .. no. i think in-ho did care for gi-hun!! i really do!! but .. his own greed literally drove him right to the end and i think he does feel guilty about that.
