I am not Clark Nova. Clark Nova is the name of a pirate and scribe who lived sometime in the late 18th century.
My name is Jason and I am an IT guy from Seattle. While scuba diving on vacation in Aruba, I discovered the shipwreck of an old wooden galleon like the ones described in these stories. Inside the ship I found a lockbox containing her logs, packed in tight with several more large leather bound books.
They are all very old and fragile. Some are seriously damaged. Each is filled with hand-written stories, collected, apparently, primarily in public houses on and around the legendary "Sea of Thieves."
Since returning home, I've begun to gradually and carefully transcribe the stories. it's slow and tedious work. Sometimes the language is so archaic it's difficult to understand, and in those cases, I have updated it a little, doing my best to preserve the feel and spirit of the story.
Progress may be slow, but I enjoy the labor and will continue to transcribe and release the stories as quickly as I can. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
