          Sorry for not announcing Chapter 22 last week because of unforeseen situations. I am also done editing the first five chapters in terms of grammar, so yeah. Some stuff might be getting too confusing as chapters pass because I have new ideas coming as the story slowly wraps up in the next months. 
          
          Also, I want to note that I will temporarily go bi-weekly, or l will only publish two chapters next month because of NaNoWriMo, so please bear with that for a while. I will continue the weekly updates in December! This is also to give me some time to finalize some things, especially big events that will come so soon.
          
          I am VERY active on Twitter to discuss TJT, so please follow me there at @ClinoZhebsT. I tweet a lot of subtle stuff and everything about writing in general (including an upcoming story to be released next year), so I ensure to you all that following me on Twitter will be worth it (+ I want to interact with my readers so much :<).

          Woahhh, big word count! I hope you will never feel tired of it. :( There's something important that will happen in this chapter, so please read it! I can't believe that I use all of my creative juices to think of this, especially the last scene.
          
          From now on, I will update earlier as I finished new chapters every Friday night. Some chapters will be done much earlier (especially to chapters 24-27), as November will be very hectic in writing.

          This is one of the few chapters I actually wrote during the hiatus, and I couldn't wait to show it to you. The next few chapters would be more characterization-heavy before we proceed to a lot of conflicts that will lead to the peak of the story.

          After more than a month focusing on academics, I get to update the book again! I even made a new banner dedicated to Part 2 so that it's distinguishable between Part 1.

Hello! It's been a while. As you see, it's been a month now since I last updated The Japanese Tutor. Let me tell you the updates about what's going on right now and what will happen in the future!
          
          PART 2 IS IN WORKS. I am working on four new chapters right now. I don't know if I'll start to post around Saturday or next Saturday (September 26) as my first term is about to pack up. I'm still thinking of possible scenarios in Part 2.
          
          Why I have to work on future chapters? First, I will join NaNoWriMo. I have to write four chapters to fill up the entire month. Second, for checking purposes. I learned that cramming my writing on update day gives of rushed work. It makes you forget that there are scenes that must be in a particular chapter. Then, lastly, I have school works.
          
          That's all for this announcement. Please anticipate the updates soon. Except for something way different from the last part as revelations and conflicts unfold!

          Today I updated the blurb of The Japanese Tutor (which is lengthier than before ). It takes me a long while to revise and think of what to put there especially as we transition to a more character-driven story. I hope the new blurb might make you oriented toward possible stakes and events of the story!
          
          For the sake of consistency and fixing minor issues, I will edit the story sometime, so I put ORIGINAL/EDITING in the title!

ANNOUNCEMENT
          RE: Changes in Update Schedule and Major Stuff!!
          
          Hello there, dear readers! Today, I want to apologize for not updating much this week. Please don't expect a new chapter to arrive tonight as I have to sleep in preparation for my 8 am classes starting tomorrow (08.06.2020), but I am sure that I will update around Friday evening/Saturday morning. If you feel hesitant about the status of the new chapter, it's almost halfway right now. 
          
          Now to major things...
          
          The Japanese Tutor will go through a MAJOR CHANGE when the story is in hiatus around this month, which will last for a month or two. [Like, a very major change in the first few chapters, blurb itself, and characterization of some characters, but I will not remove the true essence of the story]. So expect upcoming chapters that don't make sense to you as readers--as they are about to unveil something important and surprising for the entire story, especially about our main character! 
          
          Why I have to make a major change? It is because I noticed a big plothole last week. (I will not tell which one, but I think it's obvious if you read previous chapters closely). To fill up that gap, I have to go through heavy editing in the first 5-9 chapters. I also notice that there were location inaccuracies and inconsistent characters, so I have to do this.
          
          I will tell you when will you all reread the story from the start (somewhere before I release new chapters after the hiatus.)
